Rally in support of Murad Musaev, a Moscow advocate, suspected of bribing witnesses and interfering with the trial, will not take place in Grozny. This was announced by organizers of the action. Staff members of the Ombudsman's in Chechnya have reported that the authorities of the republic sent appeals to the Russian authorities in connection with criminal proceedings against Murad Musaev.
Let us remind you on November 7, the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) said that the Moscow advocate Murad Musaev became a figurant of two criminal cases on bribery of witnesses and interfering with the trial in the case of Yuri Budanov's murder.
The rally in support of Murad Musaev was to be held on the square in front of the buildings of the Grozny administration and the Mosque "Heart of Chechnya".
"However, after the other day, on his page on Instagram, Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of the republic, called on people asking them to abandon such practices, it was decided to cancel the action. Nevertheless, the initiative group set up last week in support of Murad Musaev will work on and monitor the situation," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by an official from the Ministry for National Affairs, Media and Information of Chechnya.
