Sochi residents complain about difficulties with registration
In Sochi, migration regime has been actually tightened. This was reported by city residents. Persons, who permanently reside and work in Sochi, but are registered in other cities, have to pass the registration procedure in the resort city town, and it takes weeks, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
Let us remind you that that on November 15, Vladimir Putin signed a decree changing the migration regime in Sochi during the Olympic Games.
Local residents claim that the requirements for the registration have been secretly tightened several months prior to the Olympic Games.
In October, a line to the Department of the Federal Migration Service (FMS) was up to 1000 persons. This was written by Olya Olina, a user of the website "Blogsochi".
"People spent nights in their cars for weeks to get registered. No more than 50 persons were registered per day. If we even imagine that they increase the number of employees of the FMS Department for the Olympic Games, then no more than 100-200 persons will be registered per day. If they do not open a separate registration centre, it is even technically impossible to register more people," the user writes.
