Organizers of Tbilisi rally in support of Ukraine's European integration announce their readiness to continue their actions
Organizers of the rally, held in the Georgian capital in support of the March of Millions in Kiev for the European integration of Ukraine, announced their readiness to continue holding rallies. They asked their supporters to gather again, if there are important events in Ukraine.
On December 8, Tbilisi hosted a mass action, the first one for the recent several days. This was told to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent by Yuri Gorbok, one of the organizers of the rally in Tbilisi. According to the organizers, the rally was attended by 125 persons.
"Starting from Sunday, December 1, we began to gather every day. During this time, the number of participants reduced: for two days, only 4-5 persons came here. However, today, a large rally was scheduled in Kiev, which attracted more than one million of participants. Therefore, we decided to invite more people," he said.
Guram Robitashvili, one of the participants of the rally, has stated that the support of Ukraine in Georgia is much wider than the number of people coming to the rallies.
Let us remind you that Mikhail Saakashvili, the former Georgian President, delivered his speech at the rally held by the Ukrainian opposition on Independence Square in the centre of Kiev on December 7. He also spoke of support of the followers of the Ukraine's European integration.
