Dagestani Prosecutor's Office demands from the court to suspend Children's Club "Amanat"
During the inspection of the Makhachkala-based Children's Club "Amanat", where 23 children are trained, prosecutors revealed numerous violations, said the Dagestani Prosecutor's Office, adding that a motion was directed to the court for suspension of the club.
Let us remind you that on November 26 the "Amanat" was checked by policemen, who interviewed the children; and people armed with submachine guns took part in the inspection. On December 4, the police again attempted to hold some special actions in the club; however, the administrator did not let them in, saying that they had no document authorizing their actions. The classes on that day were disrupted. This was the fourth visit of the police to the club. The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Dagestan stated, while commenting on the actions of the police, that the Children's Club "Amanat" belongs to the Salafi community and is engaged in educational activities, for which it has no rights.
So far, the "Caucasian Knot" has no comments from the club administration. Earlier, employees of the "Amanat" stated that the police violated the law themselves by not admitting children to their club activities; and the lawyer who is providing services to the club claimed that its activities were not subject to licensing.
