UFSIN employees attacked in Kabardino-Balkaria, one person lost
Today, in the city of Chegem, unidentified persons attacked employees of the local Department of the Federal Penitentiary Service (known as UFSIN). The shelling from automatic firearms killed one of them; two others were taken to hospital, an investigator told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. According to the local MIA, one person was killed and one wounded.
The incident occurred at about 8:30 p.m.
At the moment of the attack, the UFSIN employees were moving in a car. The attackers were at least two in number; they are now searched, as the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has learnt from a source from the Investigating Department for Kabardino-Balkaria of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).
According to the MIA, two persons suffered in the incident.
"The attack was undertaken at the intersection of Sovietskaya and Pionerskaya Streets, where unidentified persons shelled three persons. As a result, two men with gunshot wounds were taken to hospital, where one of them died," the "Gazeta.ru" quotes a source from the local MIA.
