ICRF: death toll of attack on the UFSIN employees in Kabardino-Balkaria has went up to two
The attack committed in the city of Chegem by unidentified criminals on the car with employees of the local department of the Russian Federal Penitentiary Service (known as UFSIN) resulted in killing two persons. One more wounded person was taken to hospital, investigators report.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the attack occurred at about 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of Pionerskaya and Sovietskaya Streets. There were at least two attackers; they approached the car with two UFSIN employees and one civilian inside, and opened automatic fire at them.
According to the latest data, the attackers killed two UFSIN employees; and the civilian was hospitalized. The attackers fled in a car that was waiting for them, the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) has reported.
The special regime known as "Vulkan-4" was introduced in the territory of the Chegem District. All the possible ways of the attackers' escape were blocked. Reinforces searching procedures are held on the roads of the republic, says a statement posted on its website by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kabardino-Balkaria.
