In Sochi, Natalia Kalinovskaya claims policemen tried to detain her
Today, three staff members of the criminal investigation department tried to bring to the police station Natalia Kalinovskaya, an assistant to the MP of the State Duma of the Russian Federation and the Chair of the Territorial Self-Administration (known as TOS) "Psou". This was reported by the activist's mother. According to her, today, at about 11:00 a.m., her house was visited by three policemen, who declared that they wanted to meet Natalia Kalinovskaya "on the issue of the Olympics in Sochi."
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Natalia Kalinovskaya herself that the policemen demanded that the activist should follow them to the police station in the residential neighbourhood of Blinovo.
"I demanded to present reasons, according to which I had to go to the police station. They showed me a 'list of organizers of rallies and public disorders'. The visitors wondered where I would be during the Olympic Games and what I would do. I refused to go anywhere with them," Natalia Kalinovskaya has said.
According to Natalia Kalinovskaya, she called to the police unit on duty of the residential neighbourhood of Blinovo and complained about the invasion of unidentified persons to her parents' house.
Natalia Kalinovskaya has also stated that she has reported about the incident to Sergey Obukhov, a deputy of the State Duma, since she works as his assistant in the city of Sochi, and that Sergey Obukhov prepares an appeal to the Prosecutor's Office on the incident.
