Advocate states new pressure on victims in Gamzatovs' murder case in Dagestan
The lawyer Sapiyat Magomedova, who is defending the interests of the suffered party in the murder case of Gamzatovs in Kizlyar, states another attempt to influence the witnesses and the Gamzatov family. This time, she said, pressure is exerted by the gas company, which has stopped supplying gas to their house and the shopping centre "Planet Lux".
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed by Gamzat Gamzatov, the 20-year-old son of the murdered Gazidibir Gamzatov, who is a witness in the case, that on December 20 he received a call from the shopping centre that they had been cut off from the gas supply.
"Three guys came, saying that they are from the 'Gazprom' but showed no documents, and said that we had no agreement on gas supply; although all the documents and the bills are in order," said Gamzatov.
According to Sapiyat Magomedova, this is another attempt to put pressure on the Gamzatovs-victims.
Let us remind you that on November 25 Sapiyat Magomedova addressed the head of Dagestan Ramazan Abdulatipov asking him to pay attention to the pressure on witnesses in the Gamzatovs' murder case. She wrote in her application that on November 21 a senior law enforcement official gathered the taxi drivers, who are witnesses in the case, and told them that if they went to the court to testify, they would suffer the same fate as the murdered Gamzatov brothers.
