107 million roubles have been transferred to the social care bodies of the Volgograd Region, engaged in payments to casualties' families and victims of the terror acts committed in Volgograd. On December 30, financial aid was paid to 17 people, said the regional governor Sergey Bozhenov.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the terror acts hit Volgograd on December 29 and 30. The first one struck the railway station and claimed 19 human lives, including the suicide bomber, identified as Pavel Pechonkin. Yesterday morning, another blast was triggered in a city trolleybus killing 16 people, including the bomber.
On December 30, 17 victims received 200,000 roubles each; however, depending on their state of health payments could be increased. In total, the above sum should be sufficient to make all the payments, Sergey Bozhenov has stated, as quoted by the website of the Governor and the Government of the Volgograd Region.
