Volgograd buries two children killed by explosion at railway station
On December 31, the funeral of Alexei Valenta, 12, and Alexander Dolgikh, 11, who died in the terror act in Volgograd, took place in the farm of Vertyachy, Gorodische District of Volgograd Region.
Let us remind you that law enforcers assert that the explosions in Volgograd at the railway station on December 29 and in the trolleybus on December 30 were committed by suicide bombers. According to the latest data, the two attacks killed 36 people and injured more than 70.
Victoria Dolgikh, a relative of one of the dead boys, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that more than 300 people came to the funeral – relatives, pupils and teachers.
Alexei and Alexander were cousins, pupils of the 5th and 6th forms of the secondary school in Vertyachy.
On Wednesday, Denis Andreev, a 24-year-old employee of the Open Joint-Stock-Company (OJSC) "Russian Railroads" (known as RZhD), who worked at the inspection point of hand baggage and died at performing his service duties, will be buried into the Krasnooktiabrsky cemetery of Volgograd.
On January 2, Dmitry Makovkin, a 29-year-old police officer, Senior Sergeant of Transport Police, who died while on duty, will be buried into the Dimitrov cemetery of the Dzerzhinsky District.
The mourning for the victims of the terror acts in Volgograd will last until January 3, 2014.
