Sochi: rally demanding to put housing and communal services into order scheduled for January 5
On January 5, 2014, Sochi will host a rally demanding to put the systems of housing utilities and urban management into proper order. The action was sanctioned, said the Mayoralty.
The action under the motto "Give us chance to worthy live and work in Olympic Sochi!" is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. in the Komsomol Mini-Park of the Tsentralny District. Its organizers are Yuri Maryan, the chairman of the Regional Branch of the Party of Social Reforms, and Roman Shikarev, the head of the public organization "Law and Order".
"The less time remains till the Olympics, the worse is the life of Sochi residents," Roman Shikarev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, adding that townspeople are sick and tired of incessant accidents in electricity, heat and water supply networks.
He believes that the city authorities have failed to cope with their obligations declared at preparation for the Olympics and during the election campaign for the city Mayor.
Let us note here that in the course of preparation for the Olympics Sochi residents are often left without electricity due to accidents. Dissatisfied with the frequent lack of electricity, they had a meeting with the Mayor, demanding to change the situation; however, accidents and power outages continue.
