In Chechnya, two women injured by fire
In the afternoon of December 6, in the high-mountainous Shatoi District of Chechnya, two women were injured as a result of a fire in the shopping pavilion. Experts are to reveal the causes of the inflammation.
"On January 6, at about 1:30 p.m., an inflammation occurred at the shopping pavilion in the village of Borzoi of the Shatoi District. Fire-fighters managed to localize the fire within the shortest period of time. During the fire, two saleswomen, who were working in the store, suffered. Both of them were brought to hospital. Physicians estimate the condition of one of the women as of moderate severity," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was informed at the Chechen Ministry for Emergencies (MfE).
A source from the Chechen MfE has noted that during the first week of this year, several fires occurred in the territory of the republic, no one suffered.
According to the Chechen MfE, during 12 months of the past year, in Chechnya, more than 390 fires of varying complexity occurred. As a result, 12 persons were killed. A year earlier, the republic had recorded 406 fires, in which 33 persons suffered.
