Ministry of Public Health: eight victims of Volgograd terror acts are in grave and critical condition
According to recent data released by the Ministry of Public Health of Russia, hospitals of Volgograd and Moscow are still treating 38 victims of the terror acts.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that two explosions in Volgograd: on December 29, 2013, at the railway station and on the following day in a trolleybus killed 34 people and wounded over 70.
Out of the above 38 victims still hospitalized, two are in extremely grave (critical) condition; six – in the state of moderate gravity, and 28 – in satisfactory condition, says the website of the above Ministry. All the affected children are in stable condition.
Victims and casualties' families receive compensations from the budget. As of January 9, 107 people had received it. Besides, apart from social payments, they are entitled to receive their insurance premiums. According to the Public Health Minister of the Volgograd Region Vladimir Shkarin, all the victims are treated free of charge.
