Resident of Nalchik fined by 300,000 roubles for extremism
The Nalchik City Court has found a local resident guilty of publicly calling to extremist actions and fined him by 300,000 roubles.
As reported by the press service of the Prosecutor's Office of Kabardino-Balkaria, a man named Mottaev was found guilty; however, no more details about this person were disclosed.
The Court has found that in April 2013 Mottaev got registered in the social network "Odnoklassniki", where he posted statements aimed at inciting hatred and hostility, as well as statements humiliating a group of people based on their attitude to religion.
The verdict was based on the linguistic examination, stating that the defendant's messages in the social network contained "negative attitudes" against law enforcers and religious groups.
