Bekov: families from "Khruschov-time" houses dismantled in Karabulak will receive new flats
The Ingush authorities have promised to build a new block of flats for the tenants of the so-called "Khruschovkas", now demolished in Karabulak, said Ferdos Musieva, a tenant. Magomed Bekov, the republic's Deputy Prime Minister, has assured that for the period of construction all the 15 families will be provided with temporary housing.
Let us remind you that on November 19, 2013, residents of Karabulak reported about the start of demolition of the two-storey house at No. 21 in Rabochaya Street.
About 70 residents of Karabulak declared their intention to go out to a rally on January 8 with a demand to stop dismantling three two-storey houses in Rabochaya Street. Then, the tenants were invited to a meeting with the head of Ingushetia Yunus -Bek Evkurov, Olga Shivtsova, a tenant of No. 21, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to her story, the head of the region said that he had received quite different information about the situation, and that the tenants who refused to move to a new house were presented to him as rebels who demanded special flats for themselves.
Mr Evkurov promised to tenants that by the autumn of 2014 a new house for 15 families would be built instead of demolished ones.
According to the lawyer Isa Nakostoev, the court session held on December 29, 2013, in Karabulak prohibited the city administration to demolish the houses occupied by the defendants until the end of the proceedings.
Despite the court ruling, under the order of the Mayor of Karabulak Mukhmad Bariev the demolition in Rabochaya Street continues, locals report.
