In Makhachkala, three suspected militants were killed during special operation
In Makhachkala, three suspected members of armed underground were killed during a special operation. This was reported by a source from the law enforcement bodies.
This morning, the counterterrorist operation (CTO) regime was introduced in the Sovietskiy District of Makhachkala, and two houses were blocked - one located in Eldarov Street and another one located in the suburban village of Novy Kyakhulai. Three suspected militants were killed during the special operation in the house located in Eldarov Street.
"According to the preliminary identification, one of the suspected militants was identified as Arslanbek Khasaev, born in 1989. In March 2011, he went into hiding and became a member of the so-called "Kadar" and, later, "Makhachkala" criminal grouping. In October 2012, he was put on the federal wanted list," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the message of the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) as reporting.
Members of the criminal grouping were involved in a series of bombings, shootings and killings of law enforcers, judges, public and religious figures. Besides, according to the NAC, they extorted money from businessmen.
Earlier, it was reported that two children and a woman left the blocked house in Eldarov Street during the negotiations.
