In Astrakhan, organizer of "People's Assembly" was fined by 1000 roubles
Judge Yulia Rogova from the Kirov District Court of Astrakhan has found Igor Stenin, one of the organizers of the "People's Assembly" in Astrakhan guilty of disorderly conduct and sentenced him to an administrative fine in the amount of 1000 roubles.
Let us remind you that Igor Stenin was detained on January 20 after the sanctioned action of nationalists.
In the courtroom, to where the defendant was brought on January 21, Igor Stenin waived an advocate and asked to postpone the consideration of the case to give him the opportunity to study the case materials. The Court has not postponed the consideration of the case and gave Igor Stenin 15 minutes to study the case materials.
Prosecution witnesses were represented by three policemen. According to their testimonies, when going from special police vehicle to the police building, Igor Stenin used became obscene words.
"I have pointed out to the Court that I did not commit such actions. While giving their testimonies, none of the witnesses could tell me what I said that they took for obscene expression. When asked who was aggrieved and whose honour and dignity I humiliated by some obscene words, they gave no answer. However, the Court has found me guilty," Igor Stenin has commented to the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent on the decision pronounced by the Court.
