Grenade goes off and kills three people in Chechnya
Three people were killed and one was wounded in the Urus-Martan District of Chechnya, said a source from the republic's law enforcement bodies.
According to the source, the incident occurred last night in the village of Alkhazurovo of the Urus-Martan District.
"An explosion of a hand grenade killed three men; one more was hospitalized in grave condition and is in the intensive care unit. The fact is now under investigation. A criminal case was opened," the source told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
According to preliminary data, in the course of a quarrel one of the four men pulled out a grenade and then the check pin – an explosion followed. The room where they were was almost completely destroyed by the explosion.
Investigators have to establish all the circumstances of the incident and to find out how the grenade occurred with a local resident, said the source.
