In Volgograd, four women-hunger-strikers needed urgent medical care
After the meeting with Volgograd city officials, four women, who take part in the hunger strike, needed medical help.
Let us remind you that the hunger strike of parents of many children and parents of children with disabilities is held in the building of the former Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF) from February 4.
Ambulances were called to Nadezhda Timoshenko and Tatiana Roschina after the February 7 meeting with the officials. Doctors also made two injections to Olga Stepanova to bring down the blood tension; they offered to take her to hospital, but she refused. Elena Levina also denied hospitalization," Elena Samoshina, a hunger striker, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
Also on February 7, Georgy Goryachevskiy, a veteran of warfare, a father of many children and the chairman of the regional branch of the "Party of Veterans of Russia", joined the parents' hunger strike. "Year after year, officials of the Volgograd Region violate the rights of families with many children," he said and added: "Care about large families should be a priority. In the territory of the Volgograd Region, the Decree No. 431 of the President of Russia, as amended in 2003, is practically ignored. Accusing us of political demands is just a peak of cynicism."
