Russian luger Demchenko wins silver at the Olympics

Albert Demchenko, a member of the Russian luge (sledge) team has won the silver medal at the Games in Sochi in singles.

After the races that ended on Sunday, the gold went to the German athlete Felix Loch, and the bronze – to Armin Zoegeler from Italy, the "Interfax" reports.

Albert Demchenko has also set a record in the number of attended Winter Olympics – the Games in Sochi are the seventh of his career. Earlier, he performed at the Games of 1992, 1994, 1998, 2002, 2006 and 2010. In 2006, Demchenko won the silver medal in single luge, the RIA "Novosti" reports.
