Soblirov, defendant in Nalchik attack case, has other freedom restriction measure
Kazbek Dateev, Musa Soblirov's advocate, said that his client would now be under recognizance not to leave instead of custody.
Let us remind you that the attack on Nalchik, undertaken on October 13, 2005, killed 35 law enforcers and militaries, 14 civilians and 92 attackers. The case is considered since 2008. Most of the defendants refuse to plead guilty. It is planned that the verdict will be announced on June 30.
On February 14, the Panel for Criminal Cases of the Supreme Court considered an appeal complaint lodged by Kazbek Dateev and asking to change Soblirov's freedom restriction format into recognizance not to leave because of his health problems, and satisfied it.
Kazbek Dateev said in his comment that Soblirov's disease belongs to the category, which prevents keeping a person in detention; however, the lawyer refused to specify it.
Let us remind you that in his final plea on December 23, 2013, the defendant Musa Soblirov said that he would die in a year or a year and a half, as he was seriously ill. He asked the court to take into account his served term and release him so that he could take his treatment.
