South Ossetia: explosion occurs in the yard of head of presidential administration
This morning, in the yard of Boris Chochiev, the head of the presidential administration of South Ossetia in Tskhinvali, an explosion occurred that hurt nobody, said a source from the administration.
"According to preliminary data, it was a hand grenade. The owner of the household and members of his family were not injured; there was also no serious damage to the property," the RIA "Novosti" quotes the source.
After the incident, the president of South Ossetia Leonid Tibilov held a sitting of the Security Council to discuss the measures to find out the cause of the explosion.
During the sitting, Leonid Tibilov instructed the law enforcement bodies to set up an operative-investigative group and conduct a thorough inquiry into the incident, the IA "Res" reports quoting Gana Yanovskaya, the press secretary of the president.
