Bogus: arrest of Asker Sokht to consolidate Circassian movement
The arrest of Asker Sokht, the Chair of the Krasnodar Territorial "Adyge-Khase", will consolidate the Circassian movement, since now even his critics speak in his support, said Adam Bogus, the chairman of "Adyge-Khase" of Adygea, who did not rule out that Circassian activists would hold a series of protest actions in support of Asker Sokht.
Let us remind you that on February 15, the Krasnodar Court ruled to arrest Asker Sokht, the Chair of the Territorial "Adyge-Khase", for seven days on charges of disobeying a lawful demand of the representative of power.
Adam Bogus, the chairman of the "Adyge-Khase" of the Republic of Adygea, links the detention of the Circassian activist with his recent statements about the Olympic Games in Sochi.
"Asker Sokht is certainly one of the most active and prominent public figures in the Adyg ethnic environment, a well-versed in the Circassian issue. I associate his detention with his position, the spread of which in the information space is unwanted by certain people who embody the power," Adam Bogus told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.
