In Sochi, three members of Dagestani community claim denial of access to Olympics
Rashidat Nurmagomedova and Abdurashid Gadjimagomedov, two leaders of the Dagestan community of Sochi, received refusals of the Organizing Committee (OC) "Sochi-2014" of issuing fan's passports. Another community member Mukhtarakhmed Alidibirov claims that his fan's passport was blocked.
Let us remind you that one can get to the events of the 2014 Olympic Games only with a personal (bearing the name) ticket, for which one has to get registered and receive a special fan's passport.
The above members of the Dagestani community could not clarify the reasons for the refusal and blocking either at the city administration, or at the FSB, or at the OC "Sochi-2014".
"Everywhere I've been told that they 'have no claims to me.' But nobody told me exactly who and why had banned my access to the events. I think this is a public humiliation, as I am a law-abiding and public person. I believe I have every right to know the reasons for my non-admission and the names of those who had taken the decision, in order to challenge their actions in court," said Rashidat Nurmagomedova, the deputy chairman of the Dagestani community and the deputy chairman of the Union of Muslims of Sochi.
