Evgeny Vitishko convoyed outside Krasnodar Territory
The convicted ecological activist Evgeny Vitishko has convoyed from SIZO (pre-trial prison) No. 1 of Krasnodar to a colony outside the Krasnodar Territory, said Anna Mitrenko, a member of the Public Oversight Commission (POC) for observance of human rights in places of detention. Neither Vitishko's relatives, nor his advocates and the POC have exact data about the colony.
Let us remind you that on February 18 Evgeny Vitishko's administrative arrest was over, after on February 3 he was sentenced to 15 days in jail for swearing obscenities at a bus stop, as the police had asserted. On the same day he was transported from the special detention facility of the Tuapse ROVD to the above Krasnodar SIZO to wait for further convoying to a colony-settlement.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Vitishko criticized the organization of the Olympic Games in Sochi, which, according to the Human Rights Watch, could cause his prosecution.
