Sochi court fines Olga Noskovets by 1000 roubles

Today, Judge Maslakova from the Khosta District Court has issued a decision on recognition of Olga Noskovets, an activist "Ecological Watch for Northern Caucasus", guilty of disobeying the police.

According to the ruling, the activist will have to pay a fine of 1000 roubles under Article 19.3 of the Russian Administrative Code.

Earlier, another civil activist – David Khakim – was also found guilty of disobeying the lawful demands of the police and arrested for four days. Both activists said in the court that they associate their punishments with their public and protest activities.

Let us remind you that Olga Noskovets and David Khakim were detained in Sochi on February 23.
