Sochi: David Khakim released from special detention facility

On Thursday, David Khakim, a Sochi civil activist, who was detained on charges of disobeying the police, was let off from the special detention facility of the Sochi OVD (Interior Division).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Khakim was detained on February 23 and then arrested by the court for four days for disobeying lawful demands of the police. The activist himself has associated his arrest with his public and protest activities.

"I'm at large and thank everyone who supported me," Khakim wrote on the Twitter.
