Authorities of Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories and Ingushetia start gathering humanitarian aid for Crimea residents
The Krasnodar Territory is collecting humanitarian aid for residents of the Eastern Ukraine and Crimea, said the press service of the territorial administration. The help to compatriots living in Ukraine was declared by Krasnodar Governor Alexander Tkachov at a rally on March 2 in Krasnodar, where the participants expressed their support for the people in the Crimea, where the authorities disagree with the policies of new Ukrainian leaders.
In the near future the first batch of the humanitarian aid will be sent to the Crimea.
Today, at the morning meeting, Vladimir Vladimirov, the Acting Governor of the Stavropol Territory, has instructed to start collecting humanitarian aid for Ukraine.
Ingushetia is also ready to provide all possible assistance to residents of the Crimea, said the head of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov, who has ordered to set up a working group in charge of collecting aid. The republic plans to help the Crimea with clothes, mineral water, grain, bread and other foodstuffs, says the official website of the Republic of Ingushetia.
