State officials of North Ossetia intend to transfer their one-day salary to help Crimea residents
State servants of North Ossetia have decided to transfer their one-day salaries to the help fund for residents of the Crimea. The collection of humanitarian aid is organized by the republic's Ministry for Emergencies (MfE).
The head of North Ossetia Taimuraz Mamsurov has ordered the government of the Republic to take all necessary measures to provide humanitarian aid to the Crimea, said the press service of the head of the republic.
"As we know, a large Ossetian Diaspora lives in the Crimea. Residents of Ossetia are concerned about the fate of their compatriots in the context of the events in Ukraine. We are in constant contact with the members of the Diaspora. So far, they have assured us that everything was OK with the Crimean Ossetians, despite the difficult situation in the region. Today, there are no natives of South Ossetia among the victims," said Taimuraz Mamsurov.
