MP Omarov dies when driving a motorcycle, press service of Dagestani Parliament reports

Chupalav Omarov, a Deputy of the National Assembly of Dagestan and a member of the Committee on Industry, Transport and Communications, was lost in a road accident while driving a motorcycle.

The accident occurred at night on April 20 in the Mozhaisk Highway in the Moscow Region. Omarov was driving a Harley-Davidson motorcycle and crashed into a Gazel truck, the "Rossiyskaya Gazeta" reports citing the press service of the People's Assembly of Dagestan.

"The MP died from his injuries; now the circumstances of the accident are studied to establish the guilty party," the "Interfax" quotes the press service.

Omarov was 45 years old; he is a native of the village Kuly, Kuly District of the Dagestani SSR. He was elected as an MP in 2011, the website of the People's Assembly of Dagestan reports.

Let us remind you that on December 19, 2013, Gadji Makhachev, Vice-Premier of Dagestan, perished in a traffic accident in Moscow.
