Record of Russian soldier on shelling Ukraine appears in social networks; author asserts his page was hacked
At night on July 24, actively discussed reports appeared in social networks that the page of the Russian soldier Vadim Grigoriev in the "VKontakte" had posted photos of artillery cannons and ammunition with the comment "shelling Ukraine all the night." A few minutes later the mention of Ukraine was deleted, as well as the account itself; however, users managed to make screenshots.
Grigoriev himself, who is taking his service in the Matveev-Kurgan District of the Rostov Region, said that he had not posted the above photos on his "VKontakte" page. He was surprised with the fact and stated that he had not visited his page for about a month; and when he learned about what happened, he asked his relatives to block the account.
He did not rule out that the posted photos were really his ones, but, in any case, "they were taken long ago, about a month or two ago," and suggested that his account was hacked.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the Ukrainian authorities had repeatedly stated the shelling of the Ukrainian territory from the Rostov Region. This information was also confirmed by US officials.
