Azerbaijan: teen hospitalized from Karabakh conflict zone with gunshot wound

Farid Mamedov, a minor resident of the village of Alibeili, Tovuz District of Azerbaijan, was wounded by gunfire from the positions of Armenian troops and hospitalized to the hospital in Baku, its doctors have reported today.

According to villagers, Alibeili, located in close proximity to the contact line of the Karabakh conflict, was shelled in the evening on July 25.

Sayyad Yusifov, the deputy chief physician of the Tovuz District Hospital, has added that Farid Mamedov, born in 1997, was wounded in his chin, the APA reports.

Doctors from the Clinical Medical Centre of Baku have assessed the overall health condition of the teenager as satisfactory, the Trend reports.

The information about the shelling of Alibeili and the wounded guy was confirmed by the press service of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD).
