FSB: about 40 Ukrainian border guards get to Russia across Rostov section of Russian-Ukrainian border

In the evening of July 26, more than 40 Ukrainian soldiers crossed the Rostov section of the Russian-Ukrainian border, and two of them sought refuge and declared their intention to apply for the Russian citizenship. This was reported by the Spokesperson of the FSB Department.

"Forty one Ukrainian soldiers had left their military unit. They arrived to the Ukrainian checkpoint 'Izvarino'," the RIA "Novosti" quotes Vasily Malaev, Spokesperson of the Border Guard Service of the Russian FSB Department for the Rostov Region, as saying.

According to Vasily Malaev, the soldiers have appealed to rebels and asked them for help to enter the territory of Russia, since they do not want to "fight against their own people."
