Levon Airapetyan's friend reports on deterioration of businessman's health at Moscow SIZO

Levon Airapetyan, one of the richest members of the Armenian Diaspora in Russia, who is being kept at the SIZO (pre-trial prison) of Moscow because of his involvement in the "Bashneft" case, faces sharp deterioration of his health condition. This was reported by a businessman's friend. The Levon Airapetyan's doctor believes the pre-trial restriction measure to his patient is to be changed.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 15, Levon Airapetyan was detained at the "Domodedovo" Airport. On July 17, the Moscow court took the businessman into custody and arrested the "Bashneft" stake.

Aramais Oganyan, a businessman's friend, has reported that Levon Airapetyan felt bad on July 26. The businessman's friend did not explain what had happened to the businessman at the SIZO.

According to Aramais Oganyan, has Levon Airapetyan suffers from several diseases, including cancer. This was reported by the "Yerkramas.org" on July 27.

"If Levon Airapetyan remains at the SIZO, his health may undergo irreversible changes," believes Genrikh Bakunts, the doctor of the arrested entrepreneur.

According to him, Levon Airapetyan suffers from cancer, vascular disease and diabetes. He suffered a heart attack and an apoplectic attack and underwent stenting.

"Prison conditions are contraindicated for Levon Airapetyan. Such patients should not be kept in custody," the doctor has explained.
