NSDC announced death of four border guards because of shelling from Rostov Region

As reported today by Andrei Lysenko, the spokesman of the National Security and Defence Council (NSDC) of Ukraine, during the shelling of the border checkpoint "Dolzhansky" in the Luhansk Region from the territory of the Rostov Region, four Ukrainian border guards were killed and two more wounded. Two more employees of the State Border Service of Ukraine were wounded by the shelling from the territory adjacent to the checkpoint "Krasnaya Talovka".

According to Andrei Lysenko, on July 27, more than 250 shells were fired from the Rostov Region on Ukrainian border guards.

Besides, the State Border Service has reported the death and injury of soldiers in the course of shelling from the adjacent territory of the Rostov Region on July 26. "From 6:30 to 6:40 p.m. on July 26, 2014, several shots from a tank were made at the checkpoint of the Ukrainian Armed Forces located near the dwelling settlement of Grigorovka from the territory of the Russian Federation. The shots killed one and wounded another soldier," says the statement posted on the website of State Border Service of Ukraine.

So far, the "Caucasian Knot" has no comments of the Russian party on these statements made by Ukrainian officials.
