Three Russian-Ukraine border checkpoints stop working in Rostov Region
Three Russian border checkpoints in the Rostov Region – the "Novoshakhtinsk", "Kuibyshevo" and "Gukovo" – remained closed on Tuesday, because of non-operation of their neighbouring Ukrainian counterparts, said Ryan Farukshin, the spokesman of the Russia's Southern Customs Department.
Last night, the customs stuff of the checkpoint "Gukovo" was evacuated, because several buildings were damaged by ammunition fragments. On the whole, the infrastructure of the customs post preserves its operability.
The RIA "Novosti" reports, referring to Ryan Farukshin, that employees of the Russian customs posts are in place and ready to work.
The Ukrainian counterparts of the Russian border checkpoints "Gukovo", "Novoshakhtinsk" and "Kuibyshevo" are "Chervonopartyzansk", "Dolzhansky" and "Marinovka" accordingly.
The remaining customs posts at the Russian-Ukrainian border checkpoints in the responsibility region of the Southern Customs Department are working in the normal regime.
