Rostov Region: two persons killed in road accident involving policeman
A Rostov policeman became a figurant of a road accident with two casualties, as reported by the Investigating Department (ID) of the ICRF for the Rostov Region.
According to investigators, the accident occurred on July 26 in the area of the memorial "Kumzhinskoe Roscha" in Rostov-on-Don.
A senior police operative agent, who drove his VAZ-2107, got into the oncoming lane and collided with a Suzuki motorbike. The driver and the passenger of the bike died from their injuries in hospital.
A criminal case was opened against the policeman under the article of "violation of traffic rules, resulting in the death of two people", says the website of the above ID of the ICRF for the Rostov Region.
