Relatives of Abdulnasyrov, slain in Stavropol Territory, state absence of answer to their demand to check power agents' actions
Relatives of Almaz Abdulnasyrov, a resident of the Neftekumsk District of the Stavropol Territory, who, according to the official version, was killed in a shootout with power agents in the Novoselitsa District, have not yet received any response from the prosecutor's office to their demand to check the legality of policemen's actions.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on July 21, according to the Chief Department of the Russia's MIA for the North-Caucasian Federal District (NCFD), a man, who opened fire on power agents was killed in the Novoselitsa District of the Stavropol Territory. Abdulnasyrov's relatives report about multiple bruises, abrasions and burns detected on his body. His friends believe that before his death Almaz was tortured.
As reported by Elena Denisenko, a lawyer from Dagestan, Abdulnasyrov's relatives – the authors of the application to the prosecutor's office – should have been notified about a check within three days.
According to her version, in this case, we see a violation of terms of a check of an application by the prosecutor's office. She added that the inaction of the office can be appealed against to a higher instance.
