Some 200 Ukrainian servicemen sent home from Rostov Region

As reported by Vasily Malaev, the head of the press service of the Rostov Regional Border Department of the Russian FSB, today, about 200 Ukrainian soldiers have been sent to Ukraine.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that earlier 180 out of 438 Ukrainian servicemen, who had got at night on August 4 to the Rostov Region, returned to their homeland.

Today, another group of those militaries has followed them, said Vasily Malaev.

"Most of them understand that in Ukraine they may be found responsible for abandoning their combat positions; however, they still decided to come back home," he added.

In its turn, Ukraine has demanded from the Russian party to ensure the soldiers' immediate return to Ukraine.

"We call on the Russian leadership not to delay it and refrain from provocations," Vasily Zvarych, the Deputy Director of the Department for Policy and Communications of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, said at today's briefing.
