Azerbaijan accuses Armenia of wounding two children
A 13-year-old boy was wounded as a result of shelling the village of Myulkyulyu located in the Tovuz District. A 10-year-old boy was wounded in the village of Kokhne Gishlag of the Agstafa District, Azerbaijani sources reported on August 6.
Sarkhan Ismailov, born in 2000, got shrapnel wounds of his chest. Doctors brought the teenager to the central hospital of the Tovuz District.
The boy was injured as a result of ceasefire violation by the Armenian armed forces, the APA News Agency reports.
On the same day, Goshgar Abbasov, a 10-year-old resident of the village of Kokhne Gishlag of the Agstafa District was wounded by gunfire. The boy got shrapnel wounds in his neck. He was brought to the central hospital of the Agstafa District. His health state is considered by physicians as normal, the "1news.az" reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in late July, the situation in the conflict zone sharply deteriorated. Parties to the conflict almost daily report on casualties on the front line and sabotage actions of both sides. Representatives of the OSCE, EU, USA and Russian Federation have expressed their concern over the escalation of the conflict.
