In Rostov Region, IED found near refugee camp with Ukrainians

On August 7, near one of the camps for citizens who had arrived from Ukraine, set up near the border checkpoint "Gukovo" in the Rostov Region, an object resembling an improvised explosive device (IED) was detected, the "Interfax" reports with reference to a source from law enforcement bodies.

"The IED was made of a plastic bottle stuffed with metal striking elements," said the source from the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA). According to his story, the group of combat engineers that arrived in the scene found that the power of the bomb was 500 grams of TNT (trotyl) equivalent.
