Salikhov was killed by members of "Makhachkala" terrorist grouping, source from ICRF asserts

The assassination of Temirkhan Salikhov, the Deputy Chief of Makhachkala GIBDD (road police), can involve the same persons who fired the building of the Centre to Combat Extremism (CCE), the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by a source from the Investigating Department (ID) for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

On August 8, Temirkhan Salikhov was shot dead in Akushinsky Avenue in Makhachkala. At present, the investigators associate the murder with the Temirkhan Salikhov's official activities.

The investigators believe that Temirkhan Salikhov was attacked by members of the so-called "Makhachkala" grouping, the source from the above ID of the ICRF states.

"The investigators believe that the Temirkhan Salikhov's murder and the bombing of the CCE building were committed by members of the same terrorist grouping operating in Makhachkala. Both incidents involved three unidentified persons and a black Lada Priora car, an official from the ICRF has clarified.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the morning of August 1, in Makhachkala, the building of the Centre to Combat Extremism (CCE) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Dagestan was shelled. Nobody suffered.
