Azerbaijani police: teenager wounded on Armenian-Azerbaijani border

As stated by the Agstafa District Police Department of Azerbaijan, the 16-year-old Kyamran Imran oglu Tagiev was wounded in the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict zone as a result of a ceasefire violation by the Armenian party.

The incident took place in the village of Kokhne Gyshlag of the district, located near the border with Armenia.

As a result of the above ceasefire violation, the teenager received a gunshot wound and was hospitalized, the APA reports referring to Agstafa District Police Department.

This is the fourth case of an Azerbaijani civilian injury on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border since early August, the edition named "Contact.az" reports with reference to the "Turan" News Agency.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in late July the situation in the conflict zone became strained – the parties to the conflict have been reporting about deaths of soldiers on the front lines and sabotage actions in fact on the daily basis.

On August 3-9, the Azerbaijani Armed Forces violated the ceasefire for 3000 times, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Nagorno-Karabakh has announced today. The Azerbaijani party has reported today that the Armenian troops violated the ceasefire for 97 times within the last 24 hours.
