In Ingushetia, local sentenced on charges of possessing ammunition
In Ingushetia, the Nazran District Court has sentenced a local resident to one year of conditional imprisonment on charges of possessing live ammunition.
According to the Ingush Prosecutor's Office, the Court has found that the defendant unlawfully stored live ammunition suitable for firing: 16 rounds for a PM pistol and 4 rounds for a Kalashnikov submachine gun.
Earlier, the round were found in his house and seized by staff members of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) for Nazran District during operational activities.
During the trial, the defendant requested to consider his criminal case in accordance with the rules of a special order of trial, in particular, without investigating the actual circumstances of the case, since he completely admitted his guilt in the crimes of which he was accused. The defendant has stated that he is aware of the nature and consequences of the claim he had filed.
