In Moscow, "Enlightenment" Foundation reports on leaflets planted during search

During the search conducted in the premises of the Moscow religious Muslim organization "Enlightenment" Educational Foundation, law enforcers planted leaflets and CDs, members of the foundation assert. According to the FSB report, mosque-goers were detained in order to ensure smooth conduct of the search.

The special operation has been carried out in the house of prayer by agents of the Special Forces Centre of the Russian FSB in accordance with the search warrant issued by the Russian FSB Department on August 14. The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has got a copy of the above search warrant.

According to the search report, as a result of the search, the law enforcers seized several CDs with electronic information, 108 sheets of applications for admission to the community, sheets of paper with text entitled: "Memo to a Muslim", "Objective of a Muslim", and "Essence of Islamic Jihad".

Electronic information carriers and leaflets found during the search have nothing in common with the activities of the organization, the members of the community claim.

According to them, the search was conducted as a part of the investigation into a criminal case of illicit trafficking of arms and explosives instituted against one of the members of the organization.
