NAC identifies Makhachkala CTO casualties as Asad Abdullaev and Magomed Yunusov
In Makhachkala, two men killed during the storm of an apartment conducted by law enforcers, have been identified as Asad Abdullaev and Magomed Yunusov, natives of Dagestan, the National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on Tuesday, a regime of counterterrorist operation (CTO) was introduced in the Soviet District of Makhachkala. The police and the FSB units cordoned off the house where suspected militants had taken refuge, reported the Spokesman of the operational headquarters of the NAC. After the end of the active phase of the special operation, it became known that two people were killed when the law enforcers broke into the apartment.
The killed men have been pre-identified as Asad Abdullaev, born in 1989, who was in hiding since April 2014, and Magomed Yunusov, born in 1988, who went into hiding two months ago and who earlier provided help to the "Makhachkala" grouping of militants, the "ITAR-TASS" reported with reference to the NAC.
According to the NAC, during the search of the apartment, the law enforcers found an improvised explosive device with the power of 1 kg of TNT (trotyl) equivalent.
