Missing resident of Dagestan identified by relatives among those killed in special operation
Omaraskhab Abdulkhalikov, a missing resident of the village of Bairamaul, Khasavyurt District of Dagestan, who had been kidnapped, by assumption of his relatives, was found among those killed in a special operation in the village of Matseevka, Kizilyurt District, said his father. Law enforcement bodies report that the identification procedure is not over yet.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on August 25 Isa Abdulkhalikov said that his son Omaraskhab was kidnapped by three men in civilian clothes. According to the father, Omaraskhab could be taken away by power agents, because his other son Shamil was a member of an illegal armed formation (IAF). On August 26, two suspected militants were killed in a shootout in the Kizilyurt District, in a wooded area near the village of Matseevka.
According to Isa Abdulkhalikov, the fact of Omaraskhab's murder in the above special operation was reported to him by an acquaintance from among law enforcers. "Omaraskhab never had any problems with the law. He was kidnapped, tortured and then killed," said the father.
"I haven't seen my son's body, but I have photos from the morgue, sent to me by the above acquaintance. My son's face is in haematomas; bruises are seen on his body," said Isa Abdulkhalikov.
The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told at the on duty unit of the Kizilyurt ROVD (District Interior Division) that they could not announce the names of those killed in the special operation, since the identification procedure was not over yet.
