Experts associate KChR development with outcomes of parliamentary elections
On September 14, Karachay-Cherkessia will vote within 22 election campaigns, a member of the Karachay-Cherkessian Election Commission (KChEC) reports. The elections to the Parliamentary of the Karachay-Cherkessian Republic (KChR) will be the most important among the election campaigns, since the direction of the KChR's development depends on the voting. This opinion was expressed by experts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot".
As of July 1, the KChR registered 311,208 voters, the website of the KChEC reports. On September 3, the KChR launched early voting.
According to Lyudmila Mamkhyagova, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Cherkessk: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow", the elections to the KChR's Parliament will be a key event among all the elections scheduled for September 14.
Uvzhuko Tkhagapsov, the editor-in-chief of the newspaper "Circassian Heku", believes that all the election campaigns are important.
Earlier it was reported that on September 1, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation upheld the decision of the Supreme Court of Karachay-Cherkessia to refuse registration of lists of candidates for deputies of regional assemblies from the "Communists of Russia" Party.
