Ingush police searches shooters at GIBDD agents
In Ingushetia, law enforcers are in search of a group of unidentified gunmen, who opened fire from a car at the staff of the regional traffic police (known as GIBDD) department. The shelling did not hit anybody, the local MIA (Ministry of Internal Affairs) reports.
The incident occurred on September 14 at about 10:05 p.m. Moscow time on the section of the "Kavkaz" Federal Highway in the Nazran District. Near the village of Gazi-Yurt, GIBDD agents tried to stop a VAZ-2107 car for inspection, but the driver continued on and tried to escape, the MIA reports.
"The GIBDD agents began pursuing the car. In the village of Plievo, Nazran District, at the intersection of Yandarov Streets and Yuzhny Lane, the passengers of the car fired several shots from an automatic firearm at the followers; nobody was hurt," said the MIA. The police introduced the "Perekhvat" (Interception) regime; however, the gunmen managed to escape.
