Over 400 refugees return daily to Ukraine from Russia through Rostov Region

The Ukrainian refugees accommodated in the Rostov Region continue coming back home. According to regional authorities, every day over 400 of them leave the territory of the region.

As reported by the Regional Frontier Department of the Russia's FSB, during the last 24 hours, 7571 citizen of Ukraine passed the border checkpoints, located in the Rostov Region, in the direction of Russia, and 8714 people – in the opposite direction.

Currently, the region houses 50,145 citizens of Ukraine; of them, 1473 are placed in 12 stationary temporary accommodation centres (TACs), while 48,672 persons live with their relatives and friends. Those, who have their housing completely destroyed; and whose relatives, who could have supported them and helped in rebuilding their households, perished, are sent to other regions of the Russian Federation, said a statement posted on the official website of the Government of the Rostov Region.
